This first image is 'Tragic Queens', depicting
Mary, Queen of Scots & Marie Antoinette.
(both the only factual characters in this series
but much fiction & non-fiction were generated
from the impressionable stories of these ladies...

VICE AND VIRTUE
Which behavior crosses the slippery line of propriety to become a vice? Who decides? There are historical heavies: 7 deadly sins, the 10 commandments, the 3 godliest virtues...& the re-interpretations of these across time and culture. Here's mine:

Illustrating music is a bizarre and wonderful challenge. Some of my favorite work; its usually a collaborative experience.
Stone Gossard's "BAYLEAF" - I was given free reign to doodle, then we picked out several images for a tri-page foldout case...a sort of storyline began to take shape. My brother, Paul Haidle, did the artwork on the CD. We also created paintings for his new follow-up solo album - soon to be released.
