My son and I are instant fans. We have taken to making fan art in our spare time. Shown here are Peppermint Butler & Cinnamon Bun (who always seems to be melting?)

Demo reel of the Sacred Geo show (produced by the Runway Vigilantes troupe in Taos…I am at this point, a long-distance vicarious member!) There are a few snippets of geometrical animations I made in the background…need to still post full versions of those soon, but for now, here’s a taste.

Logo project, more coming along soon — there’s talk of an animated fish-mobile delivering roasted coffee beans! Super fun.

Fantastic charity — the ‘Smile Train’…providing free cleft palate surgeries.
Planet Argon hosted this Draw-a-Thon fundraising event last Friday…I got assigned the description “a greyhound with a teeny saddle and jockey”. The event is closed, but here’s the link for anyone wanting to donate, ongoing..

found the earlier version of an album illustration + design for an all-women’s choir called ‘The Crossing’. It went through several morphs…I do like the deeper colors that ensued, but miss the original word-bubble title.

Halloween-ness on the brain this month….

Circus scenes from a children’s book in progress…I do wish bears were walking around in ruffled collars and vests, on a regular basis.

A Halloween-themed piece…apparently there are ghosts of renown and then ‘lesser-known’ ghosts living in the shadows of these. Since ghosts are allegedly shadows of their former humans, is it possible to be the shadow of a shadow? I wonder about these things.

Movie poster…more charcoal drawings were used for special effects moments throughout the film.

I never had a plan. At least, not one that was longer than two hours.

I’m just trying to post some color for a change. A quick glance at my imagery, one might be tempted to conclude that I hate color. Which is not true. I am merely at odds with it.

Though what I wanted most to do was not think about it just for a little while, try to let my mind go limp so it could be strong for the rest of what there was.

More sketchbook productivity….portrait of my son, lower left, with ACTUAL quote…I don’t know where he gets his commentary from, but lately he has me howling all the time. Must be the Calvin & Hobbes exposure, or WAIT - we are both Adventure Time junkies, could be that? I hope you have seen some of this brilliance already, I’m just now getting the memo.
